  • Leather Dye Interior colouring

This is how I changed my interior for anyone else that does not know what they can do to change the color they have at the moment.

My cars interior was originally brown leather. NOT a big fan.

So on my previous car I owned, I took everything out and resprayed it with vinyl spray paint. I decided to find another way to do this, there must be an easier way.

So here is what I did. Bought a few bottles of black leather shoe dye. and started painting my interior pieces, using a sponge. I gave it about three layers, allowing it dry for an hour in between layers. Some areas required ,ore and some less. Just make sure you get a good quality dye. Maybe there would be a better leather dye than shoe dye, but this is what I used and its been more than a year without any need for touch ups. I even used it on the fabric on doors, worked fine.
