Oh crap...DanTSS had a similar question earlier and I didn't see that AT control unit in my FMS'.
Hmmm...just wondering here but would an manual ECU not still work in an auto car?? I don't recall seeing anything that says it wont, but I definitely could be wrong.Just stand back and throw money.
Performance costs money.
Reliable performance costs more.

Another worthy question is if un-plugging Auto tranny control unit, will it effect the modifications necessary for the electrical aspect of the swap when going from Auto to Manual.(I know what I see in the FSM, but first hand experience is the tell all truth to the scenario)
*I'll edit/update with my findings when I get to that..I am here to help...

Got the car running and drove it around the neighborhood.
Haven't incountered any problems by useing the manual ecu with the auto.
It idled fine from park to drive and shifted like it should, so far.
Haven't got to take it over 35mph yet.imagination is a virtue
