  • boost sensor question

hey guys im currently in the middle of my na2t project and i was wondering. on the digital dash on turbo models, boost is read by the increasing bars on the tach, peak= 6.8psi, and on the n/a its at peak bars when preassure reaches 0. so how is this controlled? by the ecu? by swaping ecus will it configure the sensor to read boost instead of n/a stuff? i was planing on running my boost gague by getting a y splitter and taking it off the plenum where the boost sensor hooks up into. i just wanted to know if the stock gague will read boost now instead of what it read b4.

just get an aftermarket boost guage. the factory one is not very accurate.
Bolt on, fast, z31. You can only pick two.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe both turbo and N/A digi dash display full boost at 0psi. I remember my vacuum hose was craked at one time, and the dash showed full boost all the time.

In another word, you will definitely need an aftermarket boost gauge.
