More VG33 Questions

yea I know I suck.

First question:
are the VG33 and VG30 Lower Intake Manifolds the same basic thing? I know there are 2 slightly different VG30 lower Intakes but far as I know the only differences are deal with the injector/fuel rail mounting. The reason I ask is because I finally have my VG33 put together and I tried to put my VG30 lower intake on and the bolt holes really do not line up with the studs on the block :? :cry: I think I can get it on if I force it down but I really dont think It should be this hard. I never remember it being this difficult to put on/remove the lower intake from my VG30.

Second question:
Are there any sources for SS VG33 exhaust manifold studs or even just new OEM replacements? None of mine are broken I just think it would a good idea to replace them while I have the motor out.

Lower manifolds do mount the same.
Perhaps your studs are bent.

Thanks craZed they were all bent just enough to not let the manifold drop in :? who knows how they got bent up in the first place!

No answer about the studs from anyone???

I wouldn't worry about the studs unless they are obviously bad.

You should be able to get the studs, either from nissan, a bolt specialty shop, or me.
