    lets say i was to buy this item what are the chances that it will drop into my r200 from a z31!
    if i need to buy a finned cover thats fine but my concern is the half shafts! would my stock ones work?

    either way someone buy this ,its really cheap!

    It will drop right into your R200. Your stock half shafts will not work. Ignore the cheap and find a clsd that you can actually use.

      Cheap??? How do you mean cheap? Cheap as in quality or cost? Look at the numbers.

      VLSD
      unit $50
      Z31 differential carrier FREE (its already in your Z)
      SS or custom halfshafts ~$200-$400
      Replacement cost if burnt up doing twisties in the parking lot $50. Can be pulled from an S13, S14, Infintity J30 or Z32.

      LSD
      Used ~$400
      New LSD, other than VLSD ~$700-$1200
      halfshafts FREE (they are already in your Z)
      replacement cost, new clutches or new unit.

      Either way you look at it, your gonna pay to play. As far as quality, depends on how your going to use the Z, PERIOD.

        whats the difference between Viscous and Clutch Type!
        the goal for me is jsut all around super fast zed!
        10 second car i can drive on the street as well a little bit of drifting!

          That's all over the internet, try google. Clutch type is generally considered superior for both drift and drag applications when compared to viscous coupling type.
