  • About a VG33

    ok I need to know if everything off my VG30ET except the block will bolt right onto a Pathfinder '97 (6 cyl, VG33E, VIN "A", 4th digit). Please let me know... Today My VG30ET Started smoking and theres a slight knock ;*(...

    Just take the block, pistons and rods from vg33;then put
    all the vg30 stuff with that.
    Use whichever heads and intake track you prefer.
    Ballance the rotating assembly.
    Be prepared to drill an 8 inch channel for the oil feed.
    Get the bearing tolerances right.
    That is all.

      Can someone tell me what cars did have that VG33 engine that we could use.


      I have try to find one, but it looks like VG30 has been biggest engine here.

        VG33s were used in Pathfinders/Xterras/etc, the difference between it and the VG30 block that you would care about is bore size

              Well.. no worrys for that VG33 setup anymore.

              Nissan never did bring 3.3l gas engines to here. Only diesel were that big..

              I'm not going to bore my only engine bigger.. at lease for few years.

                  i wish we got nissan diesels over here (something other than the ld28)... i'd so do a hybrid Z with one. gas mileage and power

                    Straight6 3.3L turbo diesel in Z be pretty..mmm...

                    Legally i can tune my car to 274,8HP, but torque has no limits.. :lol:
