Nah I didn't buy no kit, I just measured up what I needed and ordered it all seperately and just combined my order. Kits are a waste of money in my opinion, especially if you're in my situation with half of the non-essential parts removed. If I got an entire kit I'd be left with meters of hose I dont need.

I got it from http://www.venairsport.co.uk, awesome service and it only took a week to arrive from the UK to Australia!

              Hehe yep, that's the plan!

I've also got blue anodized plugs for my gutted plenum, and as nice as Russ is he let me swap my red cam gears for blue ones! I have the rocker covers off right now and I'm painting them blue and getting rid of that nasty yellow. I'm just waiting for my injectors to be cleaned and flow tested then it all goes back together and I'm officially at stage II!

I was going to start talking shit about painting your engine the color of pee, but I'm glad you decided to go with a decent color

Haha hell no! I didn't paint it that color lol It came like it, I have photos of what the engine bay used to look like when I first got the car on my website. It was so bad I almost walked away from it, but I just couldn't leave it in the previous owners hands lol I felt obligated as a Z owner to rescue it and now it's going to be a 10 sec drag car with a tubbed rear-end (eventually) lol.

Well I'm only going by my own stages here, basically stages in which the modifications are progessing. Stage I being a half respectable engine bay compared to what it was before and Stage II being completed intake upgrades and engine bay detailing which I'm currently doing and stage III being engine internals. I just made them up myself as a progessive set of stages in which I'm at, not based off anything else really.

This is the first time I've ever worked on a VG30ET myself, the engine currently looks like this...

I've yet to remove the intake and replace the gasket, but that's all I'm doing at this point then I'm putting it all back together once I get my injectors back. I'll be stoked if it fires right up first go after I put it all back together lol

Hahaha I know! There was lots of dodgy stuff going on with this car when I first got it, I just had to rescue it. This poor car had to go up a half mile long, bumpy as hell dirt driveway every single day aswell due to where the previous owner lived. There was like was 1/4 inch of mud caked up underneath it, and the suspension is absolutely shot. I seriously almost walked away from it, but I could see the potential even thru all of that bad stuff.

The best thing about is that there's no rust and it's straight as anything and the engine was rebuilt only 1,000 miles ago and it absolutely hauls ass. It's such a sleeper at the moment, everyone tries to race it lol
