Short shifter

Well as most of you know i have a 1987 nissan maxima VG30E 5speed.

I have been doing alot of upgrades.

And one thing that never crossed my mind untill now is how long the shifter is !!!

could any one check out this pictures and see if the 240sx short throw would fit?

Much different design. The Z31 trans has no external shift linkages (it's floor shift) so the bottom is a pivot ball. It's a very different design from your own.

I know that shortening the lever isn't really shortening the throw, but for asthetic reasons we did it to my buddys alltrac and it helped with the shifts pretty well for free

What kind of skift knob could i use ?
