if you want displacement but still have loyalty to nissan, I'd strongly recommend VQ45DET, otherwise i'd say na2t. LS1 is nice with a HUGE aftermarket, but the VG30 has almost as high of a power potential for nowhere near as much money if you're comfortable doing custom fabrication (which i hope you are considering that you're thinking about an engine swap).

maybe you can get one from a s15 silvia clip , most drifters will want to use the 5speed because its supposed to be stronger . if the bell housings are interchangeable youre set , just figure out the mount and get a driveshaft made...

Yea its a quad cam DOHC and comes with over 300+HP...it's underated at 290HP

There's a TT version VQ45DETT and it's rated(underated?) at 450HP

Apparently it is just a rumor. Supposedly its going in the 2008 GTR.
But if one were to twin charge a VQ45 this is what it would look like... (btw my favorite S30 of all time).

ok i always see people talking about the swap always here people wanting to go v8 or rb motor or the dett but i have never heard someone say they wana go with an sr20 lol only reason i mentioned it is because i remember seing on zbums site someone did it motor may be small and only 4cyl but definately a very intersting yet funny swap i probly wouldnt do it just wanted to bring it up now start flameing me for it.
