What kind of thread pattern does the shifter have on it? Im looking for an aftermarket one and am unsure of the pattern I need.

Aftermarket generic shift knobs cost $15-20 and they come with nice little plastic adaptors that will fit virtually any shift knob. Tighten them down with some allen screws and you are good to go. Easy to install and work great unless they have an internal rattle in the knob. Been there done that. Keep your receipt just in case.
Ive bought several (5) shift knobs over the last 3 years, 2 from Z car sites, and finally found one I liked better than any others at a much cheaper price. ($20) Finding a shift knob that really fits you can be tough but dont hesitate to check out the local dealers/shops. You may find your dream shifter.
btw- this goes for the aftermarket shift pedals as well. I tried 2 different sets from different car sites, sent them both back with a big f-you and bought a generic set from the local parts store that look good and have never given me a problem.
This goes against my motto...but sometimes the generic stuff works well. :shock:Just stand back and throw money.
Performance costs money.
Reliable performance costs more.
