  • Tatsca's wild front end

    http://tatsca.z31turbo.com/galleria-4.html
Has anyone ever seen this bumper cover/body kit before? IMO its pretty cool looking, although im not a huge fan of the oversized air duct. Its too big for my tastes. I really like the options for lighting though. As you can see he's got the turn signals in the outermost slot, but there appears to be 2 other slots as well. That would allow for some great lighting options. And its got smooth, rounded off shape to it and a nice lip spoiler.

Kennedy or Jockewe: Is he a member on here? I have never seen his car before...looks like you guys do it right in Finland and Sweden.

Both those mods look like a hack job to me.
If the first one didnt have just a huge opening (looks like he melted it off) it wouldnt be such a bad looking front end!

the holes are just to large and look stupid. if you were to cut under the body line it would look much better in my opinion.

Here I had to edit it. It was driving me nuts

            Before

            After

Now the front bumper looks familiar. I believe it is "Style Auto" body kit.
            It's sold in Europe...and I believe this is a European Z31.

now that looks alot better IMO good job zdaddy!

while on the subject , does anyone know what product you have to use to be able to mold our bumpers? i think bondo would eventually crack off because our bumpers are flexible , i guess its would have to be something that would fuse to the bumper somehow... plastic welder anyone?

I agree(d) that the front end looks ugly. I was trying to point out the much cooler lighting options, that help to take away the dated look of our yellow brick turn signals.
That new prodear one is ricey IMO. Its just the stock cover with a huge hole cut in it and a glued on CF lip. It would look way cooler if that lip was molded into the rest of the cover.
ZDaddy-excellent editing on that photo. That is where i would have stopped cutting...

Tatscas front bumber is custom made here in Finland. Top part is molded from original bumber and lower part is handmade.
                            Bumber lights are MK3 Golf.
Direcly from front picture is not there, but if i remember right he has also fitted small round foglights to bumber.
