  • Jap spec Side marker light

How does the side marker light on the fender, just in front of the door, work on jap spec Z's? Is it on with the running lights or is it used as a turning indicator flasher?

They only light up with the indicator? When you turn on the headlights the side markers stay off?

Yes.. They are only turn indicators. No light anyother time.

Them? Yes they're just turn signals... All my Z's are JDM and have them.

Thanks for the info. I have some side marker lights I'm going to put on when I paint my Z soon, but they aren't Nissan lights. Can you sell me a set and send them to the states? Thanks

when i paint mine i will probably shave the markers. it really cleans up the lines without them.
Bolt on, fast, z31. You can only pick two.

I should start up a JDM part site to sell all the stuff we get that you guys didn't lol I always get asked this stuff, aswell as the rear vents where you guys have even more turn signals or reflectors...

I dont have any spare, and I'm not about to rip them off my cars but I'll take a look around some junkyards but Z31's are so rare here it's almost impossible to find them period.

One downside is that the U.S got all of the 2 seaters, but we got more HP and no T25 turbos so I'll take that compromise

                          t25

nah, aus 88-89 z31s got the t25 i think, mine has the t25 style casing with the bolt on instead of slip on output air tube that goes to the trottle

Find me an arb air locker for an R200 while you're at it. ARB dealers here add a couple hundred bucks to the price.
