  • Brake light issue

Ok so I was putting my steering collum back together today after replacing a light switch, when I was finished I realized my brakelights were stuck on. I have unhooked all of the steering collum and put everything back how it was before and the lights still are stuck on. I have no unhooked the battery until I can figure out what is keeping my brakelights from shutting off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually it's the little part here:

One of the absolute most common problems.
