  • Wheel Offset

I've been doing research and looking at options but I am having a hard time understanding. Stock offset is 15x6.5 is 20mm iirc. I am looking to go with 17x9ish in the future and want to know what offset I can fit. A lot of wheels that I am finding are in the +35 to +45 range. That seems much too high to fit on the car but maybe I am wrong. I'm not positive what size tire I am going to run yet but I am too worried about being really wide. So what offset would I be able to fit?

Great website to look at offsets/wheels sizes: http://www.thezenthusiast.com/wheelshow.html

ET35-45 are usually for front wheel drive cars. You may need spacers to clear the front struts (hub centric if possible) and to keep from looking sunk in (battleship).
