i need to get new front fenders. mine are ok but i want perfect. I am in canada so the closer the better. anybody find a good price or place. also i need a rocker panel and the leading and trailing edge of the drivers side rear fender. any ideas? anyone even remotely near me willing to hack it off a parts car?

I left the decent 87t coupe body at the wrecker when I stripped it... in retrospect I should have kept the bumpers and fenders....

but I wanted the a-pillar but the bastard took so long someone crushed it before the guy could cut it

I was pissed understandably, the a-pillar was mint, the fenders were decent, the front bumper had a small crack at the bottom, only the floorpan and tail light area were rusty on it

I can scoot out this week to one of my haunts, I heard they have another non-turbo... if they are good and I can swing a deal (body panels are usually more expensive than parts) I'll give you a price

since I'm in toronto - I could meet you or leave them in brampton at my cousin's work

I have a stack of 87+ fenders (84-85 seem hard to find right now) but shipping fenders is such a pain (finding/making a box, properly packing, etc. but I still ship them). Let me know if you need any.

          86

i need 86 fenders. But i must stress that they need to be 100% rust free. I don't care about buying new ones if i have to. Mine only have a little rust on the bottem. But i don't want the hassel of repairing them.
Hey G-E. I live in kitchener most of the week. What junk yards in to do you go to? I understand if you don't want to tell me.

              must be nice

restoring a car in texas must be a joke. rust and corrosion are half my battle.

If the rust is really bad, it would be easier and cheaper to just pick up a rust free car from down here. I would even be willing to find one for you.

My hood and fender is off of a canadian car.

Terrible idea putting those wheels on...

also a joke is trying to restore a car anywhere here on the gulf of mexico - the air is so humid here you feel wet just stepping outside

I haven't worked in other places, but I know here if I leave ANY bare metal exposed to the outside for a short period of time (a few hours I'd say) rust begins to form. Let that go on for awhile and there will be a serious issue. I'm not sure if the salt content is what's causing it but I'm sure it's not helping.

I recommend eastwood rust converter if you run into any semi-serious issues. stuff works wonders.
