  • aftermarket driveshafts, differential flange bolt pattern

currently i have an NA tranny and a round differential flange with an 87-89NA driveshaft. the square differential flange from the older cars will NOT fit this driveshaft, correct? the reason i ask is because im looking at this web site http://www.thrashdriveshaft.com/import2.htm#NISSAN and they list one shaft for 84-89NA. i was under the impression that the 84-86na and 87-89na shafts are different. i have an email out to the company, but can anyone confirm this? also, has anyone else found a better price than their advertised $265 shipped for a new shaft (ALL new parts) with NO CORE and replaceable joints? thanks

I think someone speculated that before as well, but no one definitively answered that question

the turbos of course are different, they had a tranny change, but I see no reason they would have changed the non-turbo diff flange to a new style when it's the same tranny for all years
