Auto tranny ecu/control location?

I'm glad I read this topic. My harnesses are all chopped up and I wouldn't have known to fix the auto trans controller part of the harness when I put my car back together. I had asked on another Z site if the auto was controlled by the ECU and I was told no but nobody mentioned it having it's own controller. Thanks for the info.

^ good info. The 84 and 86 FSMs I have don't show it nearly as well as the page Mrwassman posted. Chilton's and Haynes don't either that I could find. :?:

I will confirm, it is behind the spare tire. Anyone have a spare? I think mine is shitting out or something =
