i recently found a LSD for a reasonable price only the owner claims it for a 240sx or a 180sx. it has a 5 bolt with a finned cover. any chance this is a r200 diff that drop into a z31?

I'm 99% sure that it will be a R200 diff. you should ask what kind of LSD it is, ie. VLSD, CLSD, HLSD, since that will determine what your gonna need to make the swap work.[strike:ff0tp92h]1984 300ZXT[/strike:ff0tp92h]

guess-timating from the 5bolt pattern and rear cover
S13 VLSD 4.1:1
ive seen them with 6bolt patterns similar to the z31 N/A axle, but take note theres ABS and non-ABS versions, maybe a difference with JDM versions as well... due to engine differences?
