I am quite aware of this, as I own an '86 Turbo. Plus there is a spare T-5 in my garage already, just needing 5th drive & driven gears. A dealership did some warranty work to the the transmission back when the car only had 16,000 miles on it. The flat-rate technician must of been in a hurry and didn't press the gear on the shaft all of the way, and here is the result:

Wow...guess I'm getting a B&M that has history. 8)

I haven't had a chance to try a B&M equipped vehicle yet. I just really hate the feel of the stock t-5 shifter.
