  • Ring Gear Bolt size for 86T

Anyone know what the bolt size is for ring gear-to-diff bolts for the 86T cars, 10mm or 12mm? I cant find this info anywhere, and I can't get access to a lift to check mine at work because I am swamped with customer cars.

I need to know the correct size before I place my order for the Nissan Motorsports LSD. Nissan FAST shows 3 different bolts by part #s according to 2-pinion, 4-pinion, and Clutch LSD.

well, if your diff is stock, then it's a 2 pinion gear diff.

most likely 12mm. 10mm are considered rare and *I think* were only made in limited quantities in early 84-ish turbos, but don't quote me on that

Mine has the 3.54 gears, which I am keeping. Perfectly geared for highway cruising and top end runs.

If the 3.54 came in a 84 turbo, then yes I have one for sale. PM me we can work something out.
