My t5 is shot and I was thinking of installing one of the several fs5r30a I have in my 86. Anyway, when I measured, it seems the distance from the bellhousing to the tranny mount is different. Any way to make this work? The holes on the body don't seem to line up with the mount.

That is what I thought, but with the tranny mounted up to the motor, none line up. Makes me wonder what is up.

You could just slot the holes so that it will work.
And if you want to be anal, you can weld on washers to
          center it.
