Also, we should keep in mind that these ECCS examples are from the USDM.

I would like to see JDM, European, and Austrailian variations as well.

I know for sure that the 86 - 87 ECCS between USDM and Austrailia are not the same, since some of us have been working with Matt (Nistune designer) to iron out the differences. The overall layout is the same, but the tracing on the board is different, especially around the EEPROM area.

My car's ECU. If i remember right car manufacture time was 9/87.

And my car did have (not anymore) emission stuff (Import from Germany). I could try to get pics of Finnish ECU that are emission free from factory.
Custom tuned chips ('87-'89) are based on my ECU rom here.

I'll have to post up some pics of my older JECS ECUs.

I have a '76, '81, '84 and an '88 right now. I couldn't believe how much cleaner the '88 ECU was compared to the '84. Just 4 short years, and they made it so much smaller.

Imagine how ancient the '76 must look!

            http://www.redz31.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... efb8024758

do you know if is necessary to remove resistors to make work this ECU with Z32AFM?

            Thanks
