  • VG30E LiveEdit config file

I think somethings wrong with the one I have, every VG30E map I load comes up as flat with all "0" values. Any ideas or am I doing something wrong?

make sure the config file you are using is for the correct size bin file you are using.

A 32K BIN's config will have addresses like 7C00 or 7A70, while 16K will be 3C00 or 3A70. This is because it is half the size, and 16K = 4000hex, so 32k = 8000 hex.

you are not viewing any data.. a config file just tells livedit which engine you are going to use. after you load the config file for the vg30 you have to load up a specific BIN file... sounds like you need to do some more reading before you get into things.. go over jasons website and read about the romulator and shit... redz31.com... its tedious, but keep reading.. it took me a while and i finally got most of it down.. good luck

That's what I was thinking, just wanted to make sure before I did anything else.

I would think it slightly less tedious than no access to the information at all :-D
