  • rusty fpr...

don't know exactly what happened, I am assuming it was left with the adjustment screw out and rusted inside. I was taking it apart to replace the old rusty screws with some stainless ones and clean it up. I am curious if it is just throw away material at this point or if there is something I can replace the spring with. Maybe even just clean it all off and paint it with some rustoleum or wtf ever.

dont paint it. the gas will act as a solvent and pull the paint right off of the spring or whatever internal parts you paint and introduce it into the fuel system. Honestly, it sucks but I wouldnt jack with that fpr anymore.

If you do decide to though, deffinatly clean it the best you can.

As long as it is cleaned up and there isn't any pitting on any of the sealing surfaces, I dont see why it cant be used.
