    -11. PSI ~= 22 inches Hg

I think that's what was going on with the conversion. Also, from the innovative forum the autometer map sensor puts out 0-4.5Volts not 5 volts.
    from the manual:
Function 4 of input 4 of the DL-32 measures vacuum and boost pressure with a range -14.7 to 29.4 PSIg This is the range intended for boosted engines where the maximum intake pressure can be up to 29.4 PSI above atmospheric pressure.
Vacuum is typically measured here as negative PSI.
But you can set up any metric you want with LogWorks 2.

Placing it "flat" on the car will give you the most accurate readings and "usable" datalogs for both lateral and braking G's when you're on the track, if you do that sort of thing....
Ah, good to know. Ill definately keep that in mind as I am installing my unit. I dont have a track to race at but I have found my own "tracks" to have fun on.

        XD16 and DL32 programmed

I finished programming the devices and did my first log.

        Some problems.

I tried to use an extension cable for the xd16 to PC and it wouldn't work looked like a good connection too. The cables I got from vetco have slightly larger heads I may have to use a knife on them. I had to do that on the extension I used from dl32 to xd16. I can get my multimeter out and see whats getting lost.

I don't plan on doing alot of real time logging off the pc but I shouldn't have to pull the gauge out of the pod to hook up a pc.

I can try a straight full pin db-9 serial extension cable but that blows.
I'm going to post on innovative forum and see what they say.

Also now I need to get an SD memory card reader . My camera is xd.
        I'll go get one tonight.

I have my WB O2 bung install scheduled for Monday. YaYa.

So now I have the xd16 displaying the rpms and logworks (when connected) shows correct values for rpm and vac/boost.

          WBO2 bung being installed

Should have the car back tomorrow and I can start wiring the sensor.

Plan on tapping into the chts sensor and speed sensor next.

Those are going to be some very comprehensive datalogs! Are you planning on trimming the cold start enrichment and whatnot based off the chts voltage?

Could you check my post about tach functionality and add any input you may have? Thanks.

              DL-32 install redux...

              My DL-32 install page: http://www.mygen.com/users/dbruce/my...nd_Install.htm

Most everything is resolved and now am logging.
Delays due to being laid off last year ... Everythings fine now .... Oh well....

Ch-1 = Tach signal from MSD Digital Pus 6 Tach output
              Ch-2 = side force g
              Ch-3 = speed sensor mph
              Ch-4 = Autometer Boost gauge exteranal signal -14.7 - 29.8
              Ch-5 = Accel (g)

I think I will use Ch-2 for CHTS Thermocouple but the wire supplied is too short so I need to get a longer wire to try it.
