  • Help with pic of ECU repair

I'm sorting thru some of my archived Z stuff and came across this picture:

It belonged in an article from a personal webpage that documented a repair that
involved making jumpers for burned out traces or something along those lines.

Do any of you recognize it or where it came from?

I can't find the .html page i saved that it belongs to. Its vintage 2003.

    Thanks.

Why? That is common practice when you have broken traces and you can't get a new pcb.

Hell, open up a few electronic devices. I'd be willing to bet you'll find jumpers on the first one. It is cheaper to do something like that than reroute traces and run a new batch of pcb's. AND that jumper carries more current that most the traces on that board.

I've done similar work to a couple ECCSs that I have had in the past.
