The SAFC is good for tuning the gap between the stock ECU/injector limit of ~240whp up to the ~320whp MAF limit. After that, you'll need a bigger MAF or bypass, and the SAFC will no longer be useful. But the SAFC is super cheap and takes less than an hour for any noob to install once the DIY is done.
I just bought an SAFC for $85, and can do a quick writeup with pics if you want. I'm a newb to the Z31 ECU though, so if any of you have a pinout anywhere, then let me know.
