  • CHTS transfer function values

Hi, i am programming my MSNS and i was wondering if someone could give the transfer function for the CHTS. transfer function=what temp at what resistance. I remember someone saying it was in the FSM but mine is on my other computer that is in the shop. I would just download it but it takes FOREVER because i have dialup.

    Thanks

A bit of cut n paste...

    20 C 68 deg F (2.3Kohm-2.7 kohm)
    50 C 122 deg F (770-870 ohm)
    80 C 176 deg F (300-330 ohm)

[Note: I believe there are two types of chts. The later types have a narrower resistance range.

Sorry but those values are so narrow they are useless. I need values from -20 degrees up to 210 degrees. If the FSM doesn't give anything more than that than i am just going to spend the $50 on the GM sensor and connector. I just didn't want to because the nissan sensor andconnector i have are brand fucking new.

I suppose you could just remove it and measure values yourself.

Just wondering, what do you think a transfer function is?
