I realize this is a little old but thats pretty cool.

That is pretty much how the two step on my TECII works. when you want zero advance to build boost you just ground out the mass air temp sensor. You can do it by the clutch petal like that guy did or what I did was just mounted a red button on my center console next to my shifter and I hold it down for zero advance.

That seems possibly like a cheaper way of doing it tho. however the two step is just one of the features of many standalones
