  • Air regualtor valve

    I want to take off the stupid air regulator valve.

    What size bolt would I need to do that? Please give me an exact size so I can get one from the hardware store. thanks!

          make a block off plate and reuse the bolts that held it in place. took me all of 10 minutes to cut one out and stick it on.

            lol shove some silly putty in it.

            Blockoff plate is the best bet. Get some gasket maket to seal it off with a block of plate.

              i forgot its a plate like the EGR, and not just a plug like the PCV.
              Sorry.

              And for finding a bloco off plate where should I go to?
              I cant make my own btw...

                Well, if you do take it off, you are going to have to find a way to get air to your engine at idle.

                What everyone does is prop open the throttle body slightly with the little screw on the bottom of it.

                Terrible idea putting those wheels on...

                  I thought the IAC did that? (let the engine idle, and lets you control the idle with that little flat head screw... )

                    I think he's thinking you are taking off the IAC, but you're taking off the cold air valve, right?

                      yes. the cold air valve (air regulator thats on passengers middle of plenum)
