    So the reason my car was even knocking was because it has beed at 30 degrees BTDC..... ops:

    Has been like that for a long time too.

    And i hear that RX7 guys run the intercooler the SAME exact way i do and make more HP than any of us do.

    So i hear....

    Terrible idea putting those wheels on...

      You really dont need to touch the timing on a stock car...

      Then they're idiots, monkey see monkey do eh? lol Sorry I'm just kidding, but that's not efficient intercooler placement period, regardless of what some Mazda dood says.

        Was actually a wierd MR2 owner....

        I don't really believe him about the 1400hp :lol: rx7s with that intercooler placement.

          Like the old saying, god made shit and Mazda made it move hehe

          I dont mean to bash you on the intercooler placement, limited funds is a fair enough excuse but fresh air is better that forced hot engine air, nobody can really argue that.

            We did a v mount I/C slash radiator setup for an FC rx7 guy. came out really well but the whole time we were doing it we were thinking "this is the worst place that you could put an intercooler" BUT thats what the customer wanted so.....

              The customer is always right lol I bet one senior RX7 forum guy once upon a time did it and then told everyone else to do it, 5 years later behold the RX7 community not knowing where to put an intercooler lol
