  • na > t swap -- oil pan

I am in the process of doing an NA>T swap... I wanted to know if I can put the pan on without doing the full swap right away. I wasn't sure if there was any real oil pressure in the pan and figured I might be able to clamp a plug over the hole. Just wondering...

I would presume you could so long as you do keep the drain hole plugged good.

alternatively, you could just keep a constant stream of oil running into the engine.

Yeah but then that lowers available oil pressure.

You can run the pan just plug it. That what you PCV valves are for. to vent pressure.
