My fuel pump is LOUD. What can I do to make it quiet?

    my walbro is in the stock cage mounted with worm clamps. It's loud as hell, but I don't have the sound mats laid back down yet.
    88ss, MegaSquirted.
    t3/t4 60-1 cold, stage 3 hot, FMIC

        found something interesting with the fuel pump noise tonight. When the headlights are on, the sound disappears.......any input on this?

          You have bigger issues going on. Starting problems, noises that go away when the headlights are on, blah blah....

          Make a list of problems, then map them out on a wiring diagram and see if there are any common paths.

                    Could be, check voltage. Has the tank run dry? That can hurt the pumps.
