    can the 3.3 block be easily converted to the 3.0 style oil filter location?

    You'll have to look at the block and see if it has a provision for that cast in it. I personally like it where it is better on a 33.

        You also need to buy the pressure relief valve(ball and spring ) that goes where the oil filter mounts.
