I love my turbo. (T04e, stage 5 wheel, .65 AR, ceramic ball bearings) Spool is instant. A really cool thing I recently discovered (when one of my friends asked what a noise under my hood was after the car had been turned off) is that my turbo takes a little over 1 & 1/2 minutes to stop spinning after I turn it off. It just keeps spinning. Love those ceramic ball bearings!!!

BTW thanks to zmech!!!! Got rid of my 5700 rpm sputter. He said I was running very rich up there. Air fuel gauge isn't that accurate after all it seems. With some AFC tuning this morning my car pulls hard past 5700 rpms all the way to 6900 rpms. What a difference!! Gonna get to the dyno soon.

Is your A/F ratio changing drastically at that point? What does it look like around say 4500 - 5000rpm?
yeah that was my guess originally...glad you finally got it sorted out

Oh you do, you really, really do!!!! I'm so glad I sprung for all the bells & whistles on my turbo. Expensive but very worth it IMO.

I do have a wideband & the AFRs did read good & still do. Had the car out again last night & there is still sputter. Not as bad, mostly in 3rd & 4th around 6,000 rpms. Sometimes it "clears" out after 6200 & sometimes it doesn't. Now I'm thinking clogged fuel filter or more likely injector(s). Yet the AFRs aren't showing lack of fuel or too much of it.

Oh I wish it were just that easy. I have changed plugs twice (both sets I pulled were clean - I expected them to be fouled but they weren't) & I checked plug gap each time as well. I removed my Magnacore wires & put my OEM NGK wires on as well. I then sprung for a new OEM dist. cap/rotor as well. So now I'm gonna change my fuel filter. And yes it is a TT fuel filter. Not sure how I will go about cleaning my injectors if I get that far.

Oh I know that, thought of Jason right away. But on the other hand the injectors cost me $50/each new so I may just buy a couple new ones if they are needed.
