i am geeting a junk 300zx n/a with jwt cams in it and according to him they are "stage 2" im assuming that he means the bigger of the 2 cams made by jwt. and i was seening if this cam would work in my 88t. well i did a little more research and found this on jwt website
PART DESCRIPTION:
S2 VG30/33E BILLET CAMS .473"/266 DEG . THIS IS THE BIGGEST CAM THAT CAN PHYSICALLY FIT IN THE HEAD WITHOUT MODIFICATIONS. A LITTLE LOPE A IDLE. SHORT OVERLAP MAKES THIS CAM SET GOOD FOR MID RPM TORQUE N/A ENGINES AS WELL AS TURBO ENGINES. MUST USE JWT SPRINGS #AVG3E-L6SPR.
it says its good for turbo and none...but the thing about thhe springs having to be from jwt..is this true? iv heard that jwt springs are some of the best but im just wondering...
and with this setup of jwt cams and springs what rpm range am i looking at
i was also reading the sticky about degreeing your cams...do u have to do this even when i am just replacing the stock cam with jwt cams?
