  • VG30 crank in a VG33 Block question

I want to run a VG30 Crank in my VG33 block that im building. What main bearings do I need to use? VG33 or VG30 Bearings? Besides swapping oil pumps/pickups Are there any other issues when putting the 3.0 crank in the 3.3 Block? Thanks in advance.

vg30, but be sure to measure so you get the correct ones, which is all the really matters.

As long as you are buying Nissan graded bearings. For a parts store replacement set, there's not much you can do if the crank journal is out of spec... except grind the crank and use .010, .020 oversize commonly available, which is a waste of time and money in the end.

Is VG33 crank almost identical to VG30?
What kind of differences they have?
          Same crank pulley?

I have been thinking if i order engine from Firehawk..

Crank is different at the snout. Different pulley and oil pump. It is best to use a z31 crank.
