  • how long should it take to get parts from japan?

    i ordered intake gaskets for the det just after thanksgiving and still havent gotten them. i have been told by the dealer that i ordered them thru that they were closed for 2 weeks for the holidays but still 3 months come on. is this the norm for shit coming across the pond?

    one time we ordered some floor panels for a pathfinder , my local nissan dealership said they were comming from japan, it took like 3 months and was expensive as hell

      Depends upon their shipping schedule. They should be able to tell you when it will leave the docks and when it will arrive. If not, something is flaky.

        I had to wait 6 months for some cusco bars back in the day, i also remember my friend having to wait a few months for a custom LSD from ATS

          I took me about 2 weeks to get a processor from Thailand. I can't imagine it taking more than a month unless they're really dragging their feet.
          It may not be a Z, but it's still got a turbo...

                  Sorry for bringing up such a dead post, but as long as the item is no larger than a bumper, I can send it through USPS (on-base shipping ftmfw!) for cheaper than straight shipping from Japan. I can order through dealerships and magazines (OPTION2, CarBoy, Dori-Ten, etc)

                    USPS is probably the most overlooked way to ship things anywhere, it just goes to show how well advertising works on people. UPS/FEDEX FTMFL!!!!!!!! peace.
