I was looking at the block today and it doesn't have the oil passage that the rest of the VG's have next to the oil filter port. I'm just using the standard port and filter setup and I'm deleting the entire stock oil cooler, but is this going to be a problem since the block is different?

Has anyone used an automatic 86T block w/out the oil cooler?

I don't rememer them exactly, but the block should be the same, other than the bypass valve. Just add one.Chuck Stong

I used an 84T block and removed the stock oil cooler. like someone said earlier, just take the plate between the oil filter and the block off and put in a stud to thread your oil filter onto from a non auto-turbo car on there. The hardest part is getting the piece out of a non auto-turbo car. If you want, I might have an extra one laying around. Let me know if you need it.

Well I've threaded the oil filter stud in already from another block. The problem is right next to the oil filter stud, there's an oil passage on non oil cooled blocks (or atleast this one) and I'm just wondering if that's going to cause a problem with the standard oil filter setup. I guess I'll have to take a couple pics to show you guys what I'm talking about.
Thanks for the offer enjoyrth..Originally posted by Andrew84zx
