      This is true, but I did the block just because this is what I have heard is better if you have a cast iron block. Makes sence to me. I would rather have my stainless wire reinforced by iron than aluminum.

      Wassman, you can do both the head and the block, or two on the head, or two on the block. they just have to be staggered. You can also have cutouts (recesses) in the head or block. That also creates a mechanical lock on the head gasket.
