  • Block off plates

    this probably in the wrong forum, but can somebody make me some block off plates for the EGR,AIV, and Idle control, I will pay what you paid to make them and a little extra plus shipping, if anyone can do this for me please let me know..thanks

      i made my own,took bout half an hour for all 3.made them out of aluminium and sealed them with silicon.works awsome,all for free

          Amazingly, I have had a number of requests for these, so I will make a batch and put them up for sale. I should have pics of the ones I have done on a customer's car tomorrow.

                  made mine from bout 3mm aluminium and sealed it up with some kind of blue silicon.all i needed was an angle grinder,a drill and a texta..

                    would the car throw any cods if the egr, aiv, and idle control were removed?

                      I made mine out of what was left of the panel that goes under the Jack tools.I used red silcone and some bolts and it still holds after 15psi.

                      Talk about being free i just recycled my own car and its a nissan sheet metal. :lol:

                          Made my own during my engine swap...

                          thin aluminum plates
                          gasket material
                          any given tool to cut metal
                          drill
                          hobby knife
                          sharpe
                          30min-1hr

                          Though if I had to do it again, and they were available, I would probably just purchase them premade from someone else.

                              Question for Chuck--

                              Will the kits include bolts? I think this would be wanted as well, since you can't use the old ones for the most part without washers. Putting some pretty stainless ones in would probably draw alot of attention
