stupid question about turbos

    stupid question about turbos

    I'm sure this is posted somewhere, but i can't seam to find it. What are the specs on factory turbos? The reason I asked is because i came across this:

    Obviously this guy didn't know they switched to T25s. Is he right about the T3 though? Just curious...
    My beloved Z:1987 2+2 NA2T w/30a swap.
    My black sheep: 88ss parts car (pretty much stripped and gone)
    207k miles and counting. Turbo'd since 155k.

    Those AR's look right. That doesn't tell you much though. If we talk strictly dimensions, it would be a T3 60. Seems like someone around here determined exactly what it was but I don't remember.

      I'm severely lacking knowledge in the turbo-tech department. I need to do something about that...

      I can only vaguely understand a flow chart.
      My beloved Z:1987 2+2 NA2T w/30a swap.

        Keep at it. Understanding a flow chart helps in more ways that just picking out your own turbo.

          More then what I know! But I dont have a turbo so its ok. :P
