well I guess I will start on the engine rebuild this weekend sometime. so Im gonna pull he engine with a few friends. any advise? Im sure one of us will be bleeding by the time the weekend is over.

Just pull it slowly and keep checking for clearence and wires/ hoses
that may still be atached.
Have rags,beer and a camera on hand.
Oh yea, get used to it :wink:
Probably wont be the last time.
Also, if you are in charge, make sure you have all your "helpers"
show and tell you all that they removed and were it goes.
Have a bucket of gas to toss the nuts and bolts in (keeps them clean).
Have plenty of brake parts cleaner on hand.Spay it into every bolt hole on the block to get all the trash out.Use it to clean the heads out good before instalation,because oil can and will drip on to the new head gaskets as you are setting them on the block.
Put a length of fuel line on the rod studs as you are inserting them
into the block and on the crank.
Plasigage all bearings per FSM.

Be sure to drain all fluids completely before pulling it. I always "forget" to drain the coolant from the block itself and it ends up all over the ground.
Also, gear oil is not your friend either. Drain it, and be sure the DS is back in before you fill the trans if you fill it from the shifter like I do *DOH*
Remember to disconnect the little stuff like oil pressure sending unit, I always forget that little jerk.

no worries, with my friends, I think ill be staying away from a bucket of gas. I can just see one of them finding some way to blow that up.
as for connectors and such, I find that using masking tape and numbering things always helps me put stuff back together faster1984 300zx Ae Turbo(under repair...)
