i did not test the maximum so far, only 18psi. But it feels like the limit is not very close. I plan to run 22psi in midrange and 18psi on top revs. I can tell more after my engine swap next week and one or two weeks of testing. But you should not expect too much power from that turbo. I think that efficiency will decrease massivly above 18psi and high revs. But the nice thing is if you drive in second @3000 RPM in the city and slam the pedal you have wheelspin one second later @18psi even with good tires and good road surface.
The answer of allot of people to that statement is kind of "this is nothing special, my RWD-car does that easily too". Curiously when he wants to proof this on the road and we found a good peace of tarmac the tires do not spin at all.

How is that a better price when the other guy hasn't even posted?

Terrible idea putting those wheels on...

That's quite good really, similar to what I'm looking for as I dont want something huge initially.

I also noticed that hpfreaks have the gt3271 and 76 for the same good price of 650:

I picked mine up from Himni though I don't recommend them. The turbo is AWESOME but their service was pretty weak.

That's the first time I've seen hp numbers listed by the gt3271. 520hp rated, suprisingly high to me though I won't complain if it's even close to that.

according to this its more like 420hp , not bad for the price ,also considering its a non-ball bearing .briefly looking at that compressor map i wouldn't run more than 20-22 psi on that turbo

Yep... Getting 520 is going to be pushing those pretty hard, I'd go by garretts site on hp ranges. 400-420.

With this turbo you dont run the stock coolant lines through it right?

                                nope ...

with the bb turbos , you have to run water or they will void your warranty..
