Maybe the coil is running out of steam around 5700?

I thought of that & swapped in another (known to be working) stock coil from a running car. What are the chances that BOTH coils are bad at exactly 5700 rpms?

Swapped in OEM plug wires. Problem remains. This is killing me.

I'm having trouble believing that the ecu just went weird on me like this. If it did, the only way to know for sure is to send it back to JWT & ask them to check it out. That means weeks of my car being down. Then if nothing is wrong with it they will charge me for diagnostics no doubt. There must be a way to check it out.

What about the drop in resistors??? Could one of those have gone bad? I'm gonna check their connections tomorrow to make sure one isn't undone or something. Though you'd think the wideband would pick up that issue.

Running out of things to check/test.

damm , do you have a set of stock fuel injectors and a stock ecu laying around?? it would be the only other way to check . you are between a rock and a hard place with this one . on the other hand , your ECU is already socketed , so you can always buy a romulator or NIStune to check or something like that.....

I too think it may be time for a Romulator or NIStune. Now all I have to do is read & firgure out what the differences between the two are and buy one.
