Ok, this has been going on in my car for a long time and I never really cared to find out why but...
1. While ago I bought my 85t brakes sucked, bled them did nothing. 2. bought an 88t, brakes worked great, swaped all the good stuff(entire rear end brakes ect.) to the 85 and all the 85 stuff to the 88. Figured now my brakes should work good again. NOPE 3. Bled the crap out of the brakes putting 1.5 quarts through the MS. still suck. 4. replaced the master cylider with a new one and again bled the crap out of them, going from furthest from the MS to closest to the MS in that order. STILL SUCK.
Oh by the way this whole time after I swapped the brakes (what I thought were crappy 85 brakes) to the 88 they now work fantastic. So the issue is in the 85.
It could be 1 of 3 things. My first suspect is the brake booster is bad. Second would be the rubber lines. Third and least likley would be all of the hard lines.
OH, there ar NO leaks ANYWHERE.
Any other Ideas? Anyone ever heard of a booster going bad?
