I'm looking at buying another Z31, the one I'm looking at is another 88 Turbo. I can't view it in person because it's a 1hr 30min plane trip away. One thing the current owner told me over the phone that has me a little concerned is that the camber on one side of the rear wheels is slightly different than the other side. Would a simple wheel misalignment cause this, or what other issue could this be caused by? I dont think it's anything serious, the car hasn't had any major accidents etc but I'm just wondering what could cause one rear wheel's camber to be slightly different than the other. Thanks!

Thanks guys, nothing real serious then. This car I'm looking at is SEXY! It's like my white 88 except it's black and factory manual which is rare as rocking horse shit here!

If you can see the difference, it is likely far off. I replaced the control arm on one car. It didn't look bent, but the swap fixed the problem, and it was WAY off.Chuck Stong

Holy resurrected post batman, a year to the day almost...
Control arms, are '84-89 NA ('85 in this case) control arms the same as 87-89Ts?

I forgot to update this thread after I fixed it a few months back...
The winner was Jason, it was a bad wheel bearing. It only became evident after I changed all the bushings and diff mount to poly. You could faintly hear it afterwards. So I jacked it up, wiggled the wheel, confirmed wheelbearing. Replaced the inner/outer which took 3 weeks from Japan to arrive I might add, camber fixed! Horaah!
