I've got a Shiro, so I've already got the Recaro LX-C seats and factory rails. Not happy with the seats, I bought a pair of refurbished Recaro LS-C from an eBay seller located in Germany. $1,600 later, I have two (esentially) new LS-C seats that look and feel FANTASTIC! For those wondering, the LS and LX models differ only in the side bolstering. The LS have much larger trapezoidal bolsters whereas the LX have the sloping triangle bolsters. Seat bottoms are identical (including the adjustable thigh extender). Also of note, the LS-C seats use smaller mounting bolts.

my seats look exactly like these:

I need to get better pics, but I also have old aftermarket Recaro LS-C seats in my car. Sitting on Shiro rails for bolt-in ease.

Although this will probably be looked at as somewhat sacrilege, I mounted this http://bride-jp.com/en/seatrail/fo/N156FO.html rail and put in a Sabelt GT-140 http://corner3motorsports.com/produc...0-racing-seat/. The seat came out of my Z34 and rather than spending tons of money and headaches on a custom rail and a whole new seat, the cheapest option for me was to buy the rail ~$250 and just swap my seat over. I honestly gave up looking for Recaros for my Shiro, the condition most are in and the price most people demand for them is just unreasonable.

Fitment was tight, the GT-140 barely cleared the roof and I had to remove the adjustment bar to get the seats mounting holes to line up with the brackets, but it feels amazing! If you've never tried a Sabelt seat, I highly recommend it!

Anyone with 370Z seats? Does those fit in our cars fysically? Not too big/wide/heigh? I'm sure rails needs fab work, but those would look nice in my Z.
