  • Sensor attached to original radiator

I changed radiators from the OEM and there was a slot for some sensor that went directly into the radiator. The new one doesnt have a slot ofr it and its now just hanging loose. Does anyone know what that is and if its needed? Do i need to tap the new rad to install the sensor or can I just leave it hanging?

The turbo radiator had the sensor to start the electric turbo radiator fan (at 212 degrees?) . If the OEM fan has been deleted or you have your own fans and fan control you don't need it.
fyi - if you deleted the mechanical fan, you need fans to run if the AC is on ...

Thanks so much. I left the one fans on so hopefully it will suffice. Thanks again
