I have an 86 300ZX and have converted the front end to 87-89. Can I still use my 86 pop up motors or do I need to source later models? The part numbers are different for 84-86, 87 and then 88-89 so apparently there are 3 different motors.

The harness connectors between an 86 and 88 motor are different. Pretty sure you need to go with the motor already in your car.--------------
